Etienne LaMort Headshot

Etienne LaMort

Gender: Male Birthday: July 14, 1990 Billed From: Port-au-Prince, Haiti, by way of Fort Lauderdale, Florida Height: 6'2" Weight: 251 lbs

Etienne LaMort looks like he was built in a lab to be a professional wrestler. He’s broad-shouldered, chiseled, and freakishly athletic — a vertical leap that turns heads, a dropkick that lands picture-perfect every time, and raw strength to throw opponents around like rag dolls.

But once the match goes past the highlight reel, the cracks show. LaMort can hit big moves clean, but when he tries to chain them together it’s like watching a man with four thumbs and backwards knees. Technical exchanges turn into pratfalls. Mat wrestling ties him up like a pretzel.

Early in his career, LaMort seemed destined for big things. In 2013 he was signed to DEFIANCE’s developmental brand, BRAZEN, where coaches saw him as a can’t-miss prospect. But his run was cut short when the “anti-Jeff Andrews purge” of 2014 swept him out before he ever got the chance to prove himself.

That hasn’t stopped promoters from giving him chances. LaMort’s been wrestling since 2012, and every booker who lays eyes on him thinks he might finally put it all together. He’s made a career as a journeyman heavy, hired muscle for bigger stars, a dangerous-looking piece on someone else’s chessboard. The crowd never knows which Etienne they’re going to get: the dazzling athlete who looks like the future… or the eternal prospect still tripping over his own feet.

Entrance Description 🎵 “Voodoo Music” by MANTRA hits, its upbeat rap rhythm bouncing through the arena as the lights shift into pulsing red and blue.

Etienne LaMort steps through the curtain, rolling his shoulders as he walks with deliberate confidence, limbering up like a man ready to show off his power. At the top of the ramp he leans into the hard camera, striking a rear bicep flex, the Haitian flag armbands stretched tight across his arms as he stares into the lens with calm intensity.

He makes his way down the aisle still rolling his shoulders, occasionally flexing an arm and pointing to the bands, proud of what they represent. When he reaches ringside, LaMort plants, crouches, and in one explosive motion vaults straight onto the apron with a vertical leap that draws a pop from the crowd. Without hesitation, he springs again, clearing the top rope with ease and landing smoothly inside the ring.

Once inside, he jogs a short circle, keeping his arms loose, rolling his shoulders like he’s still warming up. He stops at the hard-cam side, throws both arms high in the air, then pounds his chest twice with a fist before turning toward his corner, ready for the bell.

In-Ring Personality Heel, but not one of the seething, trashtalking douchebag heels. He's a bit arrogant and a bit of a bully due to his build and his wrestling style - he's just going to bear down on his opponents until somebody wins.
