Zebediah James
Middle child of the James siblings and nephew of long-time Eric Dane Sr. ally Frank Dylan James, Zeb grew up in a world where wrestling was as normal as breathing and as chaotic as a family reunion fistfight. FDJ wrestled for years before losing his leg in a moonshine-still explosion, and he passed his outlaw spirit directly to his nephews and niece.
Dane Sr., recognizing the value of FDJ’s brand of rural insanity, taught the James kids the business side of pro wrestling and the fundamental mechanics they needed to stay alive. He made no attempt to “polish” them — that was Frank’s job, and Frank’s version of training involved a bottle of whiskey, a barn, and a lot of screaming about “hippie faygits.”
Zeb took to this world naturally. From the time he was ten he was jumping off barn roofs, hayloft railings, sheds, tractors, and the family pickup truck. Frank never once stopped him — he only yelled, “Tuck yer chin, dumbass!”
By his teens Zeb was wrestling in outlaw rings across Appalachia. By his twenties, he, Zeke, and Cherry Mae were unavoidable — a trio of charismatic, dangerous, wildly entertaining country scrappers Dane Sr. saw dollar signs in from miles away.

| Entrance Description | — |
| Move #1 | Scrapper punches and haymakers |
| Move #2 | Running shotgun dropkick |
| Move #3 | Wild cross body |
| Move #4 | Stalling back suplex |
| Move #5 | Back to belly atomic drop |
| Special Move #1 | Hold My Beer Dive (basically Zeb leaps at the top rope, barely clears it, and lands on an opponent or more outside the ring. Not really a suicide dive or a flying plancha because it’s too sloppy to be either one) |
| Special Move #2 | Ankle pick and spinning toe hold (he got ankle picked by Cherry Mae so often he learned how to do it himself; Zeb rarely has patience for grappling but the spinning toe hold is fun) |
| Special Move #3 | Gulley Jumper (springboard clothesline - while the arm is somehow always in the right position the rest of Zeb’s body looks like ragdoll physics and ADHD) |
| Finisher Setup Move | — |
| Finisher Setup Desc | — |
| Basic Finisher | Frog Gig |
| Basic Finisher Desc | Frogsplash. Sometimes it comes out crooked and looking like it’s going to be botched until it lands. Other times it comes out with RVD perfection, including the chest sell. |
| Alternate Finisher | Gone Fishin' |
| Alternate Finisher Desc | Fisherman’s buster. Zeb kind of runs out from underneath his opponent instead of falling backwards when delivering it. |
| In Ring Personality | Zeb treats wrestling matches the same way he treats most of life: as a chance to have a good time and maybe make a questionable decision or two. He's energetic, fearless, and usually enjoying himself right up until somebody gives him a reason not to. Zeb is quick to smile, quick to mouth off, and even quicker to throw a punch if he thinks someone's earned it. While he can be surprisingly good-natured after a match, once he's angry he becomes stubborn, reckless, and difficult to stop. The more chaotic a fight becomes, the more comfortable Zeb tends to be. |
| In Ring Tactics | Zeb wins through momentum, crowd energy, chaos, unpredictability, and a willingness to take risks most wrestlers wouldn't consider. He thrives when matches become fast, messy, and difficult to control. While Zeb knows more wrestling than he usually lets on, he prefers scrapping, diving, and keeping opponents off balance. His greatest weakness is his tendency to fight emotionally and attempt increasingly reckless offense when frustrated. |
| Always Do | *Throw himself bodily at opponents from absurd heights *Pop crowds with insane risks *Smile through chaos *Get in someone’s face at the slightest provocation *Defend Cherry Mae like a rabid dog |
| Never Do | *Back down *Apologize for being a hillbilly *Use complicated chain wrestling *Let anyone insult his family without consequence |
