Point of Review airs! Questions asked and not answered!

Posted on June 20, 2026

After nearly four months of uncertainty, ICW Point of Review (1.3.5) has finally aired and is now available for viewing.

The event marks the first new ICW show since Under Review (1.3.4) aired in February. While fans were repeatedly told that matters were being handled behind the scenes, no official explanation for the lengthy delay was ever provided. A new air date was finally announced in early June, with Point of Review airing in mid-June.
Rather than answering questions, however, Point of Review may have raised even more.

Early in the broadcast, footage was shown of what appeared to be a private discussion between Eric Dane Sr., Todderick Davenport Jr.,  Cito Conarri and Jeff Andrews regarding the Reviews that ICW was subjected to throughout Run 3, and possible solutions. During the discussion, Davenport Jr repeatedly proposed a move to Iowa. At the end of the discussion, Eric Dane Jr. was spotted listening, although how much he overheard wasn't clear.

The situation escalated later in the evening when Dane Jr., visibly frustrated, publicly claimed that Iron City Wrestling was planning to relocate to Iowa shortly before the main event.

Whether Dane Jr.'s claims are accurate remains unclear.

While references to Iowa were unquestionably made during the discussion, neither Dane Sr., Andrews, Cito Conarri, nor any other ICW official has issued a statement confirming or denying that the promotion intends to leave Birmingham. Given Dane Sr.'s long history of making dramatic threats, promises, and declarations—some of which are eventually carried out and some of which are not—many fans remain unsure how seriously the comments should be taken.

The rumors have only intensified because of the unusual gap between Under Review and Point of Review. With no official explanation ever offered for the nearly four-month delay, some fans have begun speculating that venue issues may have played a role in the interruption of ICW's schedule.

Despite refusing to address the Iowa rumors directly, ICW did make one official announcement. The promotion unveiled its next tour, Season 1 Run 4: EMBERS, and confirmed that the upcoming run will take place at The Foundry in Birmingham.

That announcement has done little to slow speculation - in fact, the choice of 'EMBERS' for the run name seems to have sped it up. In the days following Point of Review, several enterprising fans began investigating references made during the earlier discussion and discovered that BlackRock Holdings, a company mentioned during the conversation, appears to hold a controlling interest in The Foundry. The exact nature of the relationship remains unclear, and no connection between BlackRock Holdings and the recent rumors has been officially established.

For now, questions remain officially unanswered. ICW has confirmed that EMBERS will take place in The Foundry, and everything beyond that remains speculation.
