Post-Under Review 3.3 wrapup: 3.4 lineup, Jeff Andrews signing, incidents flagged

Matches and Lineup Notes for ICW 3.4

Several matches were set in motion during ICW 3.3, with ICW staff later confirming the following for the upcoming card:

  • Graysie Parker vs. Kirsty McKinney has been made official, with the #1 Contendership to the Trust Fund International Championship on the line. The winner will earn a championship opportunity at Final Review. The match was booked by Todderick Davenport III during the show and subsequently ratified by ICW staff.

  • Following the Reinas de Sangre’s assault on Jenn Tinsley during a backstage interview, a singles match between Tinsley and Celestina Cruz has been added to the card.

  • ALEXANDER have formally answered the challenge issued by the Night Riders. The two teams will meet with the #1 Contendership to the Iron City Tag Team Championship at stake. The current champions, The Brothers Gluck, will be watching closely.

  • Jeff Andrews has arranged for outside competition to face The New Untouchables, bringing in Tormenta y Relámpago, Storm & Thunder — luchador Turbulencia alongside American prospect “Thunderbolt Kid” Dan Patterson — for a special tag team bout.

  • The Television Championship will be defended in the opening match of the night, as Lowlife Larry Edwards puts the title on the line against Marcus King.

  • The Brothers Gluck are also scheduled to compete against local talent as part of the 3.4 lineup.

Jeff Andrews’ Arrival Raises Immediate Questions

The appearance of Jeff Andrews in ICW proved to be both surprising and, to some, inevitable. Andrews and ICW promoter Eric Dane Sr. have not crossed paths in a professional wrestling setting since their highly publicized falling-out during the DEFIANCE era in 2014, making Andrews’ presence impossible to ignore.

During an initial post-show staff meeting, Dane Sr. reportedly demanded to know who was responsible for Andrews being brought into ICW. No clear answer was forthcoming, and Dane exited the meeting abruptly. Attempts to follow up later in the evening were unsuccessful.

Despite the visible tension surrounding his arrival, Andrews has publicly stated his intention to serve as manager for The New Untouchables. Whether that role will be formally approved — and what it could eventually lead to — remains unclear. Andrews has been signed, and ICW has made no announcement regarding restrictions on his involvement moving forward.

Incidents Under Review

ICW has confirmed that multiple situations stemming from ICW 3.3 have been flagged for internal review.

  • During her match against a local competitor, Marisol Serrano inflicted an ankle injury that prompted immediate concern. ICW has issued an apology regarding the incident and confirmed that Serrano has been suspended with pay pending review, as officials examine both the circumstances of the injury and the question of intent.

  • The main event concluded in disorder, with two separate post-match incidents drawing scrutiny. Kirsty McKinney applied her bulldog choke, known as the Pitty Choke, to Graysie Parker and refused to release the hold until security intervened. Shortly thereafter, Eric Dane Jr. assaulted Todderick Davenport III, resulting in a facial laceration beneath Davenport’s eye. Davenport received medical attention and was released the same night.

It has been noted internally that Davenport provoked both confrontations. Questions have also been raised regarding why an individual signed strictly as in-ring talent — without a formal staff or agent role — has been permitted to book multiple matches, which were later made official by ICW staff.

ICW officials have stated that no final determinations have been made at this time, and further updates will be provided as reviews are completed.
