Power Rankings return! (Updated for 1.3.5)

Tyler Voss here.

It was brought to my attention that the Power Rankings on the website are not at all reflective of reality, and that somebody should do something about that. And as director of communications, that somebody is me, I suppose.

So let's talk about rankings.

The amount of points gained and lost for each particular match type are already listed, but they don't convey the entirety of the situation. Sometimes someone cuts a brilliant promo. Sometimes someone mows through ten bodies. Sometimes an underdog turns an expected squash into a 15 minute banger.

Also, the software insists that semi-active and developmental talent be included in the rankings, and that can lead to them being ranked higher than actual wrestlers. That never sat right with me.

I spoke to Eric Dane Sr about this, and he told me to do whatever, so that's exactly what I'm going to do. I will try to be as methodical about these rankings as I can be, but at the end of the day I'm going to make sure they're reflective of reality. So here goes.

The first time they appear in ICW, everyone automatically gets +5.

A +1 bonus can be applied for, but not limited to, the following reasons: Overperformance, great promo, great match, imposing presence, winning a title belt, and as a dirty loss adjustment.

A -1 penalty can optionally be applied for, but not limited to, underperformance, getting punked, a particularly unconvincing win, and so on.

Even higher bonuses may be applied in very certain circumstances. Want to know the difference between a +1 Imposing presence bonus and a +3 Monstrous presence bonus? Watch Jeff Andrews land some stiff kicks, then watch Jack Havok go on a rampage, and get back to me.

I have compiled these rankings from the start of Point of Review 1.3.1.
