RUMORS SWIRLING IN THE IRON CITY AFTERMATH

The smoke is still clearing after The Iron Gauntlet, but if you listen closely backstage—or know where to stand near the vending machines—you’ll hear whispers that the chaos is just beginning. Here’s what we’ve picked up on the Iron City Wrestling grapevine…

IS ERIC DANE STILL IN CONTROL?

Word is, Eric Dane Sr. walking off commentary wasn’t just an emotional reaction—it might’ve been a power play gone wrong.

Multiple sources say Dane had no idea The New Untouchables would show up at The Foundry, and even less of an idea they would target his longtime associate Scott Steel. That means someone snuck them in—someone with pull.

Is Dane losing control of his own house? Or worse, is he being outmaneuvered by old ghosts?

And don’t forget—Tyrone Walker, Dane’s longtime Team Danger brother-in-arms, was seen backstage having a heated exchange with The Only Star following the ambush. Tempers flared. Voices rose. Did Ty sign off on the attack? Or is the producer just as blindsided as Dane?

DID THE RICH YOUNG GRAPPLERZ BUY THEIR WAY INTO A TITLE SHOT?

We all saw it: TD3, Darian Darrington, and Jacoby Jacobs waltzed out after the Iron Crown was won like they already had it appraised and insured.

Backstage speculation says Todderick Davenport III is already “negotiating” with ICW officials about a “legacy exemption” clause that would allow him to challenge Graysie without actually qualifying for a shot. The idea? That his family’s contributions to the state (and their “anonymous financial support” of ICW’s infrastructure) warrant “consideration.”

We’re also told TD3 offered to buy the actual Iron Crown and was politely—but firmly—laughed out of the room by an unnamed official who reportedly said, “This ain’t polo, son.”

SCOTT STEEL SIDELINED?

After the violent ambush by The New Untouchables, Scott Steel hasn’t been seen in any ICW-sanctioned capacity.

Some insiders claim he suffered a concussion and cracked ribs, while others insist he stormed out of the building, vowing to “find those little punks and fold them in half like maps.”

What’s more intriguing: Scott’s connection to Dane is long-established, but some wrestlers are now whispering that Steel was in on something bigger—and whatever that plan was, it just got torpedoed.

Is Steel coming back as an avenger, or a man betrayed?

WHO IS BACKING THE NEW UNTOUCHABLES?

Here’s the real bombshell: no one knows who officially signed them.

The New Untouchables appeared unannounced, unnamed, and unbilled—and yet their music hit on cue, their attack wasn’t stopped by security, and their merch is already rumored to be in production.

Could someone in ICW upper management be quietly endorsing the rebellion against Dane’s legacy? Could this be a hostile generational takeover?

Some say this isn’t just a tag team—it’s a movement.

TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SPOILERS LEAKING?

The Iron City Tag Title Tournament begins next month, and we've heard whispers that at least two established teams are set to debut, including a pair of southern brawlers with ties to the old Georgia circuit and a mysterious lucha duo calling themselves “Los Reclamadores.”

One team that won’t be participating? The Rich Young Grapplerz—at least not officially. Word is TD3 wants to "focus on singles glory" and has reportedly dubbed tag team wrestling "a pastime for poors." Classy.

MIDCARD RUMBLINGS: TV TITLE STAKES HEATING UP

While the Iron Crown took center stage, a quiet war is brewing between Astrid Reichert and Duchess Vaughn.

Reichert, the icy technician from the Alps, reportedly requested “first rights” to the Iron City TV Title match. Duchess, meanwhile, has been lobbying hard with ICW brass and allegedly demanded a live mic next week to "set the record straight.”

This one’s got money written all over it—and blood likely to follow.

IN SUMMARY:

  • Eric Dane’s authority is cracking.

  • The New Untouchables might have a ghost backer.

  • TD3 is trying to turn ICW into his private country club.

  • Graysie Parker has a target on her back the size of Alabama.

  • And the Iron Road to The Foundry’s next big event just got a whole lot bumpier.

Keep your ear to the steel, folks. In Iron City, everything leaks—blood, secrets, and bad intentions.
