The State of ICW: Forged in Iron, Tested by Fire
Posted on August 17, 2025
BIRMINGHAM, AL – Iron City Wrestling was born in smoke and steel, and already it’s carving out a legacy. At our debut, Graysie Parker stood tall as the first-ever Iron Crown Champion. Weeks later, she stormed into United Toughness Alliance and did the unthinkable—took the WrestleZone Championship from Aaron Shaffer. Now she’s a double champion, carrying the pride of ICW on both shoulders and daring anyone to try and take it away.
Jesse “The Iron Kid” Collins continues to prove that heart beats hype. He may not have gotten his hand raised against El Fantasma Oscuro, but every fan in Birmingham knows he’s fighting for them every time he steps through the ropes.
The tag division is already shaping into a warzone. The Brothers Gluck have stomped through the Night Riders, and the path to gold runs through violence, grit, and teamwork. Duchess Vaughn & Astrid Reichert—an unlikely pair forced together by tournament fate—have surprised everyone by holding it together. The New Untouchables are lurking, dangerous and calculating. And of course, the Rich Young Grapplerz are basking in the glow of Todderick Davenport III’s money, looking to prove that flash and arrogance can actually win matches. The tournament is far from decided, and the road only gets rougher.
Meanwhile, Jack Havoc has brought chaos to every fight, Clovis Black stalks the shadows like a phantom, and Eric Dane Jr. is determined to step out from his father’s shadow the hard way—through blood and sweat.
Every week at The Foundry, ICW fans are learning what this company really means. This isn’t sports entertainment. This isn’t circus lights and fireworks. This is Iron City Wrestling: where the fight matters more than the spectacle, where legacy is earned, and where every match feels like a battle that could end careers.
The state of ICW is this: alive, dangerous, and unrelenting. With champions already proving themselves beyond our walls, and challengers rising from within, the Iron Road ahead promises nothing but fire.
