Astrid Reichert
Once an “ugly duckling” in her Austrian childhood, Astrid turned to judo early and became a youth tournament standout. By the time she grew up, her looks brought her into modeling even as her fighting drive led her into MMA. Though she had early success in MMA, she went 5-0 in her first fights, and 1-2 in her latter 3. She was widely considered to have hit her ceiling when she took the fight against pro wrestling legend Heidi Christenson.
Then she shocked the world by dominating Heidi in the octagon before winning via guillotine choke early in the 2nd round.
And Heidi shocked the world by kicking Astrid in the back of the head while Astrid was being announced as the winner.
The fallout saw Heidi come down with a lifetime ban from combat sports - including not just MMA but pro wrestling - and Astrid coming to some kind of out of court settlement with Heidi and also jumping ship to pro wrestling. She spent the first couple years of her wrestling career in Japan.
Then, Iron City Wrestling opened. And promoter Eric Dane, who had his own bloody history with Heidi Christenson (emphasis on the bloody), of course wanted the woman who'd humiliated her on his roster no matter the cost.
And so Astrid ventured to the States for the first time...

Entrance Description | The lights fall into a deep crimson as “Requiem (The Fifth)” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra erupts through the speakers. A fog creeps along the stage, and Astrid Reichert steps into view in her cropped black leather jacket — left arm sleeved and studded, right shoulder armored in steampunk steel but bare of a sleeve, leaving the tattooed python arm on display. At the top of the ramp, she pauses. The camera finds her face just as she runs her tongue slowly across her teeth, the sneer curling into place. From there she begins her descent, each step measured and deliberate — a serpent gliding forward. She focuses straight ahead, breaking stride only to cut a contemptuous side-eye at a heckler, or to glare with disdain at an overeager fan who dares cheer her. She climbs the steel stairs without hurry and ducks over the middle rope into the ring. Moving to mid-ring, she flexes her tattooed arm, her gaze fixed not on the crowd or camera but on the python ink coiled around her bicep. With deliberate reverence, she traces the curve with her opposite hand, snapping her fingers away as if dismissing the audience entirely — her arm, her power, is the only thing worth her attention. Only then does she unfasten the jacket and hand it over the ropes to a ringside attendant, revealing the maroon-and-gold fight gear beneath. Rolling her shoulders, she flicks her hair contemptuously from her face and fixes her eyes on the hard camera, coiled and ready to strike. |

Finisher Setup |
Schlecte Nacht Single arm rear naked choke. This is a potential finisher against weaker or distracted opponents, but it's also a mind game. Applying the sleeper, Astrid will try to overwhelm/psyche out her opponent with skill, trying to work them into a position where they're helpless to fight it off, for example grapevining one arm with her leg and wrist clutching the other, then slowly cranking the sleeper. More often in their attempts not to get tied up they'll set themselves up for one of the finishers. |
Basic Finisher | Lindwyrm Suplex - Stalling bridging dragon suplex |
Submission Finisher | Off With Her Head - It's just a guillotine choke. Well, maybe. It's the guillotine choke that ended Heidi Christenson's MMA career, so maybe it's not _just_ a guillotine choke. |
In-Ring Personality | Gleefully seething, sadistic, and methodical. She doesn’t rush her attacks — she isolates, controls, and punishes. Every move feels like she’s trying to humiliate her opponent as much as hurt them, and she's obviously enjoying every second of it. Sometimes it even looks like she's enjoying it 'that way.' |
In-Ring Tactics | *Targets the neck relentlessly to soften opponents for chokes *Controls pace with clinches and mat wrestling *Taunts or mocks opponents when she has them trapped |
Always Do | Go to great lengths to show that they have technical superiority over their opponent. She will take the fight to the ground and drag things out with unnecessary sweeps and position changes to intimidate and humiliate her opponent before going for the chokeout. |
Never Do | *Appeal for crowd support *Take unnecessary high-risk aerial moves *Show mercy once she has control |
