Duchess Vaughn
Born and raised on the streets of Brixton, South London Duchess Vaughn is the result of coming up the hard way. Fighting and scrapping came naturally to the young competitor. Naturally athletic (see: built like a brick shithouse) Duchess came to pro wrestling through the world of underground mixed martial arts. With no technical prowess to speak of, Duchess relied on her solid chin, wide stocky frame, and her ability to throw hands with the best of them. Building a reputation for herself as one of the most dangerous new competitors to emerge from the British scene in a very long time.
Her background is more interesting than all that, though. What, her being the niece of world famous Hall of Fame pro wrestler, the (one true) Original DEFIANT himself, the “Bombastic” Bronson Box.
Duchess’ mother left home quite young and is estranged from her famous brother. Duchess however has been obsessed with her brutal uncle since she discovered her familial ties. Not a lot more is known about their relationship beyond Bronson apparently giving her the seal of approval to enter into “his world” of professional wrestling.
That all being said. It’s no big leap to figure out how Duchess found herself in Iron City Wrestling. ICW producer, commentator and old friend of the boss Angus Skaaland being Bronson Box’s manager over in DEFIANCE is the first clear connection between Vaughn and Box’s network of associates.
Only time will tell if “The Concrete Queen” has what it takes to reach the lofty heights of her famous family member.
- Astrid Reichert – “Because Angus told them to play nice and form a tag team... for now.”
- Astrid Reichert – “Immediately hated one another. Cost each other the Iron Gauntlet match when they brawled outside the ring and got counted out.”

In-Ring Personality | Brawler Meets Grappler: She never leaves her feet and loves to stand up and trade hands. Spent enough time in her cage fighting career squaring off against technicians of all stripes picking up a little grappling knowledge here and there. She can hold her own. Trash Talker: Always running her mouth, especially during matches. Loves to run down her opponent as she’s tossing and stalking them around the ring. Not a Showboat: Not there to pop the fans, she’s there to hurt folks and win matches. Crowd Interaction: As much as she loves trash talking with her opponent, she loves trash talking the fans even more. Has a real distaste for wrestling fans, thinks they’re all disgusting. |
