| Entrance Music | "Step Up (I'm On It)" - Maylene and the Sons of Disaster |
|---|---|
| Entrance Description | The opening grooves of “Step Up (I’m On It)” by Maylene and the Sons of Disaster tear across the sound system, and a few seconds later The James Gang burst through the curtain together. Zeb immediately starts pointing at fans and slapping hands as he heads down the aisle, occasionally shouting something to the crowd or grinning at supporters wearing James Gang merchandise. Beside him, Zeke moves with far less enthusiasm, though the faint smirk on his face suggests he's enjoying himself more than he'd ever admit. Reaching ringside, Zeb hops onto the apron and vaults over the top rope while Zeke takes the more direct route through the ropes. Zeb immediately climbs onto the middle rope and throws a fist into the air before dropping back to the canvas. Meanwhile, Zeke removes his flannel and takes a quick look around the ring. The brothers meet in the center, exchange a nod, and head for opposite corners, ready for whatever kind of fight the night has in store. |

| Move #5 | — |
| Special Move #1 | Smoky Mountain Air Mail (Theoretically, a flapjack toss by Zeke on Zeb into a frogsplash from Zeb. In actuality, Zeb rotates however much he rotates when being tossed and hits whatever move is least likely to break his neck.) |
| Special Move #2 | Zeke goes down on his hands and knees, Zeb steps off his back to the top rope and then a leap of faith plancha to the outside |
| Special Move #3 | Bearhug/Clothesline/Spinebuster combination (Zeke bearhugs an opponent, Zeb hits the ropes, jumps, Zeke spikes them as Zeb’s clothesline connects.) |

| Finisher Setup Desc | — |
| Basic Finisher | End of the Road |
| Basic Finisher Desc | Spinning spinebuster from Zeke/flying lungblower from Zeb off the middle rope combination |

| In Ring Personality | The James Boys are rough-edged Appalachian brawlers who somehow know more wrestling than they initially appear to. Zeb is the energy and enthusiasm of the team, always looking for an excuse to jump off something or throw the first punch. Zeke is the steady hand, acting as his brother's anchor and occasional emergency brake. Together they're fearless, loyal to a fault, never back down from a challenge, and are always ready to turn a wrestling match into a good old-fashioned fight. |
| In Ring Tactics | The James Boys prefer to keep matches moving at a fast pace. Zeke uses his size, power, and surprisingly solid fundamentals to create openings while Zeb looks to capitalize with speed, aggression, and aerial attacks. While they are capable wrestlers, they rarely stay in one place long enough for extended technical exchanges, preferring strikes, slams, and double-team offense. Their teamwork is built on years of sibling chemistry rather than precise planning, allowing them to improvise effectively when things break down. When frustrated, they become increasingly physical and are more than willing to settle matters with their fists. |
| Always Do | *Back each other up immediately *Protect family and friends *Escalate when disrespected *Mix wrestling with brawling *Turn openings into double-team offense *Keep fighting when hurt *Let Zeb do something questionable *Let Zeke clean up the consequences *Make questionable decisions when Cherry Mae’s safety is involved |
| Never Do | *Back down from a fight *Leave a partner behind *Bully weaker opponents *Pretend to be something they're not *Stay angry at each other for long *Respect arrogant city slickers automatically *Watch someone pick on Cherry Mae without intervening *Quit |
| Writer Notes | If Cherry Mae James isn't booked to wrestle herself she'll probably accompany the James Boys to the ring. |
